Appeals court grants variance for Cincinnati abortion clinic's sign location

In August of 2013 Sharonville, Ohio's Zoning Board of Appeals denied a variance to abortionist Martin Haskell to erect a new eight foot sign advertising his Women’s Med Center abortion clinic in the Cincinnati suburb.

The abortion business sign would replace one that had been blown down, but closer to Lebanon Rd., thus requiring a variance for that location.

Martin Haskell appealed the Zoning Board’s denial to the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, where the case was heard before Magistrate Michael Bachman.

Judge Leslie Ghiz confirmed the decision of Magistrate Bachman to grant a variance, overruling the Zoning Board’s denial and granting permission for the sign. In a review by the Cincinnati Bar Association, Ghiz received a majority of "fair" or "poor" ratings for integrity, character and objectivity.
